Join WTA this fall at Snow Mountain Ranch near Yakima or along the Candy Point Trail near Coulee Dam.

From our first-ever work in the Blue Mountains to the trails of the Colville to the broad slopes of Snow Mountain Ranch, WTA trail volunteers have been hard at work in Central and Eastern Washington this year. And the fun's not over yet!

Check out these two great opportunities to work at unique sites in Central Washington. Both work parties would be great for first-time trail volunteers, and no experience is needed to sign up:

Join WTA and the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy at Snow Mountain Ranch, a former ranch-turned trail network 15 minutes outside Yakima. Enjoy the high desert in the fall on Saturday Oct. 8, as we continue work on repairing erosion-damaged trails that we started working on this past spring.

Want to make a weekend of it? Check out the Umtanum, Lmuma Creek, Big Pines, and Roza campgrounds along the Yakima River Canyon.

Come spend a weekend on the Candy Point Trail in Coulee Dam the weekend of Oct 21-23. This will be WTA's first time working on this unique Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) trail. The historic trail features amazing rock structures in need of some TLC and repair. Camping will be available at Steamboat Rock State Park for the crew.

Looking for work parties a little farther east? We've got a full schedule of fall work on the trails around Spokane.
