The Rocky Top trail is close to Yakima and is accessed off of west Summitview Dr. near Anderson's Rock and Demolition Pits. This trail is on Anderson's property and is open to the public thanks to them. The trail, about 6.5 miles round trip with 1500 feet of gain, climbs the eastern slope of Cowiche Mt and provides 360 degrees of view including Mt Adams, Rainier, Cleman. This area also has bike trails. Todays late afternoon hike was cold and windy with mostly clear skies.
