Today, I went to Talapus and Olallie Lake with my mom, my dad, and my dog. we arrived the Talapus trailhead at 10:40am. The parking lot was full and we had a hard time finding a parking space.

On the way to the Talapus Lake, the trail condition is great. It is very gentle. It is also not muddy today. There is no bug so you don't need bug spray. There is also not many people on the trail, so the trail is not crowded. The trail has switchbacks. But don't cut the switchbacks!

We arrived at Talapus Lake at 11:30am. The lake view is beautiful with partial clouds. We didn't need sunscreen because there was barely any sun today. The water is clean. You can walk on logs. You can also play balance beam on the logs.

After resting at the Talapus Lake for half an hour, we continued to the Olallie Lake. Be careful, there are bees and wasps. On the way, my dog got stung because he was too excited. We could also go to Pratt Lake, but we didn't have enough time.

When we arrived the Olallie Lake, we took a break. The Olallie Lake is beautiful. There are rocks on the mountains. I saw a red colored fish. I think the view is great and you should take the hike too!
